It's much more like the right picture in person, the pictures on the left has had some work. The slide is Stainless while the frame is clear anodized aluminum. No major difference American vs. Italian.
Re: Starter .30 cal can? I went with a YHM SST Phantom .30cal a couple years back. Only regret is weight. If I had a chance to redo it I would get the Ti or something else lighter.
Re: 1/2x24 to 1/2x28 adapter What do you have that's threaded 1/2-24? 1/2-20 is fairly common overseas and that's what the 16" CZ452 has but I don't think I've heard of 1/2-24 in reference to a suppressor before.
Re: Who makes a single stack, HAMMER fired 9mm? No longer made but Beretta 92 Compact Type M is a single stack 9mm DA/SA. They run about 500-700, come up pretty frequently on berettaforum.
Re: Fast Attach v Threaded Biggest reason I went with the QD (YHM .30cal) was the ease of going between 556 platforms (1/2-28) and .30 cal. It is easier to thread on/off, but if you shoot much it will be too damn hot to handle either way!

Re: 7.62 Suppressors on a 5.56 rifle??? I shoot a YHM 762 QD SS on my 223 AR. Hearing safe. One benefit is that I don't have any noticeable gas blowback in the face like most report with dedicated .223 cans.
Re: amith and wesson M&P any known issues I just bought an M&P9Pro about 2 months ago. LOVE IT. Trigger is "tuned" from the factory and is really nice, 5" barrel, fiber optic front. Using it for USPSA, have almost 1k rounds through it without an issue. I think you can get the standard...
