So I've been looking to grab one of Mike's slings but wanted to go to the source and order direct from TIS to make sure of what I was getting (correct swivels, etc.). I dropped Tactical a PM to ask him about the best way to order one of his quick release slip cuff slings and get the M40A3...
I'm in Greenville/Spartanburg Area, shooting pistols mostly at the indoor ranges (Allen Arms, Sharpshooters) and shoot my rifle here and there at out at my Dads farm in Woodruff. Not a lot of room but not a lot needed for shooting .22lr at ~200 yds on the far end. Hearing all these guys say...
Re: The Hobbit I don't think I enjoyed it as much as the first ofthe LOTR movies, at least not initially. I did think the songs that the dwarves sang were pretty cool though. The song they sang around bilbo's fireplace stuck around in my ear for a while. Was singing it on the way home to...
Re: Remington 40X Bolt Questions I'm still working on getting my hands on the rifle itself. Preferably the whole setup but I would take any of the necessary pieces as long as I started with an action. If were just the bolt I needed, my order with ptg would be placed. Just doing a little...
I've never been able to get my hands on one so you guys will have to bear with me but what was the methodology/technique for numbering 40X bolts? Were the serials stamped or scribed on the bolt? Anyone have the story behind it or the process Remington followed when building the 40Xs?
Re: RMR on HK USP Tactical ??? Interesting thread on HKPRO about this and a link to a company that makes bases for red dot sights that will fit into your existing sight cut. May or may not be useful to you. I was kinda intrigued by your query and have a USP myself; if you read to the last...
Re: Best 9mm personal defense ammo I started feeding mine Winchester PDX1 after reading about it in one of the gun mags. The magazine (can't remember which) basically tried to recreate the FBIs hollow point testing regimen and rate a number of manufacturers products by their results in the...

Re: Cloud Atlas I've heard a lot about how this was a bomb at the box office, but my wife wanted to see it so I figured we'd give it a shot. Not a bad movie in my opinion. If you can get past the perceptibly shitty makeup that is inevitable when attempting to sell a character as a part of...
Re: .22 bolt actions The CMP does still offer a few things that might meet your needs, just depends on what kind of action you're looking for. They no longer have any 40Xs but I think you could still get a Winchester 52 and maybe even the Kimber 82s. I started a similar thread a while back...
Re: Stepping Up To the Plate UPDATE for 9-14 NEW PICS Mike, with regard to your Ravage setup on the 605 action, I'm curious as to what kind of accuracy is being squeezed out of this bad boy. I saw Ranger's post about poppin' steel at 400+ yards regularly which is just disgustingly accurate...
Re: Please explain this image Re-enactment of scene from 'I Am Legend', plus a baby. Either that or the latest and greatest in the recent trend of 'panic tubs'.

Re: Why are there not more 40-X/XB Clone Actions? Do you need to carry it or shoot from only a bench? What's acceptable for group size...2" at 100yds...sub 1" at 100yds? Can my setup shoot stuff as close a 20ft and as far as 250yds? A little research before spending a dime will save you a...
