    Re: Recessed crown Be advbised that the crown is the last and possibly the most precious place that you bullet comes in contact with before it takes flight. I would not do it by hand. We do what we call our "F" class crown which gives the protection of a recessed crown with the excellent gas...

    Re: Shortening barrel Barrett to 20" Not done any 20 inch .50's but have had gret sucess with 20 inch .338 Lapua. On our 20 inch .338 LM we go with an 8.8 twist barrell from Rock Creek, shorter barrel, faster twist retains accuracy. Hope this helps, Jim@PREDATOR CUSTOM SHOP
