Coyote brown. Stored hanging in an air conditioned closet. Never dropped, hit, or otherwise abused. Compatible with any of SKD’s systema mag carriers on the front. $450 shipped. Your purchase certifies that you are not a felon and are a US person (either citizen or permanent resident). Cannot...
Don’t put words in my mouth. I’m flexible. If you can demonstrate you’ve had some sort of a recent background check and remain in good standing, I’m good to go. Do you have a security clearance? Do you work at a school? Like I said, I’m flexible. I’m using the same policy that SKD does when they...
SKD's PIG Brig plate carrier rig in Coyote Brown. Includes side plates and MOLLE side plate carriers. This is ideal if you already have/wear soft body armor and want a carrier to throw in the trunk next to your carbine. This just needs your choice of SKD's PIG brig mag carriers and pouches and...
Keep your left index finger under the trigger guard like you've got it. Grip harder with both the left and right hands, don't grip so hard with the right so as to impair your trigger finger's function, but you can really squeeze with the left. Grip tape or especially stippling will really help...
Yep, if you get an open gun you will not be shooting IDPA. You'll also be shooting 3 gun against guys with xrails and 22 round mag Saigas for shotguns. In USPSA you will be at a big disadvantage with a .40 because of the mag capacity, and at a big disadvantage with a 9mm because you aren't going...
Yeah, shooting a Beretta 92 in Open is going to be painful. The better option would be to load up your mags and shoot in Limited Minor (which is where you should be unless you have a dot or a comp on it). Otherwise just put 10 rounds in your mags. The mag you make ready with can be 11 rounds so...
Ever pulled a in-service transmission apart and it was rusty on the inside? Me neither. ATF is also an incredibly badass carbon solvent which I learned completely by surprise last November.
My apologies. I forgot for a few seconds that snipershide.com was the only reliable source of information on the internet. I'll try to do better in the future instead of listening to things like the experience of one of the top 2011 and shotgun gunsmiths in the county.
About half of the guys in those threads are personal friends of mine that I've known and been shooting competitively (USPSA and 3 gun) with for the last 5 years. Combined we're putting somewhere between 50,000 and 100,000 rounds down range per year. I don't really care if they had an objective...
Toss all the flags you like, there seems to be a sample size of several that independently say if you put too much on and it gets cold the guns don't work so good. :)
You guys considering Fireclean may want to check these threads out. fireclean issues when cold? - Reviews - BoomerShooter.com | The Nation's Premier Firearm Community Sluggish M2, fixed it with some acetone. Before and after video. - Shotgun - Technical - Brian Enos's Forums... Maku mozo!
Yep. Have to get points or the speed doesn't matter. IDPA is even more accuracy centric than USPSA, penalties are brutal at least from what I remember.
