NEW from XLR Industries **ELEMENT CHASSIS**

If you look at the piece between the chassis, and the stock, there is an aluminum adapter piece. It fits into the buffer tube hole, and tightens with a castle nut, and the extension piece has a second hole for anti-rotation. If anyone is interested, I'll sell the buttstock and the adapter...

NEW from XLR Industries **ELEMENT CHASSIS**

You could always add one of these to it as well: It allows for anti-rotation, and adds a little length if that is needed.

Rifle Scopes American rifle company rings???

I personally think in a heartbeat they are better than the Seekins. 2 screws, they don't rotate the scope while tightening them, they don't mar up your scope with ring marks, the warranty and customer service is first rate, and for me personally, they are made in my state.

What did you use to paint your rifle?

My newest stock I just did for a buddy. I have about 25-30 minutes into the whole thing.

Precision Armament M11 brake/ no POI change!!

Sorry to resurrect a dead thread, but what do you feel the long term results were and do you have any pics from the side of the brake so I could see how the brake to barrel fit is. Is it a big gap in size, because I believe the Barrel is a .875" barrel diameter, and the brake is a .850". I...

    XLR Chassis Stock

I'd say go for some American Rifle Company or ARC rings. 2 screws and they are REALLY easy to use as well as being the most solid mount IMO outside of a Spuhr. They don't leave big mars on the scope either so its nice for resale if you decide to do so.

Rifle Scopes My Vortex 6x24x50 PST... You fellows need to know..

I love it how one person's personal experience is valid because it was a bad one, but another one with repeated success with the same product in in a similar circumstance is suddenly invalid because it was a positive experience. If we are going to have a balanced opinion of a product, and there...

Rifle Scopes My Vortex 6x24x50 PST... You fellows need to know..

No armchair quarterbacking here. I get out and use my Vortex scopes often. Never an issue, and I've had others from Leupold and some cheaper scopes break as well. Sure, it sucks to have something break, but imagine if you bought from Nikon or other scope with a limited warranty and you were...

Rifle Scopes My Vortex 6x24x50 PST... You fellows need to know..

I would say their track record of putting out really high quality scopes for half the price of some of their competitors outweighs one incident of someone having bad luck with their scopes. I can't count the number of times I have heard great things about their scopes. I have 2 Vortex scopes...

Do you build or assemble rifles?

When someone says "I'm building" an AR, I equate it similarly to Orange County Choppers (OCC) to building a bike most times. They farm out frame, fenders, S&S motor, all the parts, lights, and more, and they put it together and tweak a few things to make a motorcycle. Afterwards, they send it...

Rifle Scopes My Vortex 6x24x50 PST... You fellows need to know..

Thanks for the info. At least they have a solid warranty with their products but hopefully I won't have to use it.

Savage Stock system that accepts AR stocks, grips and rails

VERY interested. Running a "Tacticool" boyds stock right now but a chassis would be a cool addition. They are so hard to find one you like too so good luck in the endeavor. I'm still deciding on what I want to do with my Rem 700 SA.

What did you use to paint your rifle?

The clear coat really makes the green look nice and deep. Takes the color to a different place.

What did you use to paint your rifle?

Started off with a Boyds "Tacticool" stock. Sanded it with 320 grit sand paper and all the way up to 1k grit sandpaper. Prepped and cleaned off the wood and used some regular old Krylon primer. Primed it with gray 2 coats, and let dry for a day. Painted it with some Krylon Ultra-Flat Camo...
