    Bushnell 3200 10x ok for .22 trainer?

Re: Bushnell 3200 10x ok for .22 trainer? I have 2 10x 3200 scopes, one on a 77/17 Ruger and the other on a 77/22. They work great and at under $200 a good buy. The .17 is a real squeak killer out to 150. The optics are pretty good for the price, as I just can't see putting a $1000+ piece of...

Re: How not to check a firearm at the airport... The guy is an idiot for having the rifle loaded, but how did it just go off? Did I miss something here?

    PTR 91 Owners

Re: PTR 91 Owners If you are buying new, get the GI model, as they eat all ammo and are a few hundred less. If you want one of the new black PTR91s make sure the SN is above AW8000. Most below serial #AW8000 have the tighter chamber and are more ammo picky. I have 4 of them and have only had...

Rifle Scopes Magnification for shooting @ 600 yards

Re: Magnification for shooting @ 600 yards For hunting I usually go with a 3X9, but most shots are 200yds or less. For shooting on the bench I use a 4.5x14 and its good well past 600yds. I have a couple scopes that go to 20x, but find them overkill. Remember at the higher power everything is...

Speed up your .308 Reloading Process

Re: Speed up your .308 Reloading Process Almost all my 308 goes thru several autoloaders and I FL resize and light crimp. Keeps the bullet in place and feeds reliably. I check the case length and neck thickness every use, then trim to spec. Haven't seen any signs of over pressure or loss in...

    308 ammo for 1-10 20" match barrel

Re: 308 ammo for 1-10 20" match barrel I have 3 of the DPMS 308 ARs and they do best with the 175 GMM. With military it runs from about 1 1/2 " with Aussie to 3 1/2" with South African. The military ammo is good blazing ammo, but the heavy Federal GMM is king.

    .338 federal

Re: .338 federal I have the DPMS lightweight hunter 338. Its every bit as accurate as any of my 308 ARs. I tried forming the brass from 308 brass, but had some chambering problems and the thinned out necks didn't hold the bullet tight enough on some rounds. The factory ammo from Federal is...
