Retumbo & H1000 are ADI AR2225 & AR2217, neither are sold in 4Kg bulk packs AR2218 (50BMG), AR2209 (H4350), AR2208, (Varget), AR2206H (H4895) are, apparently it may be due to clumbing...who knows, just break them up & go for it.

Have a play with your neck tension, this can dramatically improve ES. As other have said shoot your Retumbo load at 1000 before you write it off, ES isn't everything. I have had single digit ES (35P) & very average accuracy & vice versa

Going by experience with the Lapua Imp & the fact that my Norma loves Retumbo, I would say have a go with Retumbo, N570 & RL33, 33 with probably give the best velocity if you can get enough in there.

Is it possible that initially you brass was too short for the chamber & would move forward under firing pin strike ? When it was jammed that wouldn't happen giving the appearance of less pressure. Yes you can use Retumbo it gives good velocity.

The only time I've had a hang fires is with not enough US869 in cases, 338 Imp, CT imp & CCI 250s. A duplex as mentioned could bring more inconsistencies ?

215s a brighter/stronger than 250s & softer in the cup.

I tried some 130s in my 28 Terminator but my 1-9 twist wasn't sufficient, even with a muzzle velocity of 3400+ fps. I thought that may happen so have some 120s inbound to try :-)

Velocity was underwhelming. The action & barrel knox may have been too small for the taper in the case ? Never did get to the bottom of it. Sorry I don't have my data with me. You will use a fair bit more 20N29 in it than 50BMG.

Just measured the ones I made, 186 grains so very similar.
