    6.5x47 Lapua.....still a viable investment?

Re: 6.5x47 Lapua.....still a viable investment? About a year and a half ago I switched from my tried and true 308 to the 6.5X47Lapua. Somewhat reluctantly I might add. In hind sight, it was one of the better decisions that I have made. This is a GREAT cartridge. No recoil, great velocity and...

    6.5 x 47

Re: 6.5 x 47 I have a 6.5 X 47L and love it. Its on a Stiller Tac-30 action and weighs about 14lbs. Ive killed a couple deer and antelope with this round and it beats the 308 quite handily. I would have no problem killing Moose or elk with it. I'm just in the process of building another...

Rifle Scopes Leupold VX-III 1" tube with M1 knobs

I understand that M1 knobs can be installed on a standard Leupold 1 inch tube scope. I do prefer M1 knobs over the regular target turrets, but I'm not sure how aesthetically pleasing this would be? Does anyone have a photograph of such a modified scope? Thanks, TK
