I've seen this system that are standard on Remington M24's. I'm wondering if anyone has 1st hand knowledge of these and are they available to purchase if the work? If anyone would know anything about these it would be someone on sniper's hide.

Re: .223/ 5.56mm crimp Thanks guys! Sounds like either way will work. I guess with a very light crimp you shouldn't have any pressure problems even with 25.5 gr of W748. But on the other hand like Humble stated, why bother with a low recoil rifle like the Ar-15.

How much if any do you crimp for ar-15's? I'm using Military brass w/ 62 gr fmjbt. I have both M855 and M193 factory ammo and I can't tell even with a magnifying glass if they have a crimp or not.

Re: How sore does your shoulder get? I bring a jacket, nothing heavy, drape it over my shoulder between the rifle recoil pad and my shoulder like you would a towel. Reduces recoil feel by 25 to 50%. Over come, adapt, improvise. Pain is weakness leaving your body...LOL.
