Take the retaining screw all the way out (out) place a coin or a flat piece of sheet metal into the slot on the underside of the brake. Refit the screw on the wrong side of the brake and gently screw it in on to the coin or sheet of metal until the brake begins to rotate stop!!! screwing it...
Just pull the bottom of the spring & stretch it out a little from the riser , clean the the inside of the magazine body with a small paint brush or similar, refit the spring & riser, all should be ok.
Undo the cheekpiece screws that secure it to the cheekpiece to it's platform (they are under the cheekpiece). The platform has slotted holes so when undone you can move the cheekpiecd from side to side or indeed set it at an angle if you wish.

Original AICS & AW mag's will fit in an AX/AXAICS & feed fine but because of the angled front to the AX/AXAICS mag port they may drop out under recoil hence the addition of the front lip on the mag's to prevent this, thus the AX/AXAICS mag's will not fit in an AW OR AICS.
Pull the block forward using the bipod if it is a little stiff then just push the sling loop out, the bottom sling point will fall out when you remove the roll pin. hope that helps
That is the wrong mag for that chassis. You shoud be using the double stack single feed AICS mag or a AW double stack double feed (if your action can take it) That is a short action not long action chassis.
Re: SOB RANT....FIXED....BACK ON Hi singleshot85 Just a small thing & it has been covered before but that barrel is m/c'd to fit an AW not an AE. The barrel should have a plain land to fit the recoil lug correctly.
Re: Badger Ordnance M2008 .308 Build "The latter is one of the biggest reasons that kept me away from the AIAW, that and i really dont care for AI chassis." That is an AI (AICS) chassis.
