    Do you drink anything while shooting?

    At a match, I like to pre-hydrate the day before with a couple gatorades, and the day of, I like to have 24oz gatorade with a 5h Energy IN IT for basically my own home made energy drink. Most matches tend to have water on hand.

    Tenebrex are my preferred, but if I'm on a budget, I use Buttler Creek on the eye piece and MK Machine on the objective.

    FML-TR1 IMO, just about everything on that reticle is too heavy for an optic that has the ability to zoom PAST 30-35x. .075 floating dot is better suited to a 25x optic...way to heavy for something that goes to 42x .03 main stadia inside 2 mil is good, but even the 1 and 2 mil marks are .06...

    made a 1st round impact at 1068 with an 18" 223 DMR. Needed 15.2 mil of elevation (only had 13 I could dial) Needed 5.5 Mil of wind. Didn't have enough to hold and was forced to dial. I prefer having the choice...have since changed optics.

    Don't count out the pre-owned market. Any of the 2000 to 2500 optics can be had for 1500-1800, and even if you end up not liking them...they will be worth the same if you decide to offload to try something else.

    Rifle actions round vs flat bottom

    In a factory action, I prefer my 3 CRF M70s, but the flat bottom is just one part of it. The CRF, the 3 position safety, the quality of the steel, etc etc etc. In a custom action, I don't really care.
