I am trying to match a rifle I have seen off the internet but the colors they used were Duracoat. I plan on using Cerakote but the colors on-line make it hard to figure out a match. Does anyone know what Cerakote colors would match Desert Warrior Brown and Woodland Brown. Also is Duracoat...
I am practicing right now on some scraps of metal before trying it out on my firearms. My questions is about the "Wet Look" I have made several light passes to prevent runs. As I apply a second and sometimes a third light pass it seems as the previous coat has already dried (I know it hasn't)...
I bet that for the most part I will ant to shoot through my can but I know there will be times it will be worthwhile not to. When I shoot without the can which will be better to have? A thread protector or shoot through a screw on break? The can is a screw-on.
I have tried my best Googlefu with this topic but I have come up short. I really like the Vortex scopes I have looked through and my job has tasked me with researching new binoculars for my district. So I ask this to the sponsors and the people who actually own these binos. How do you like...
I am looking to join a range or shooting club so I can shoot at distance and for some fun shoots. I am looking to get into shooting in some long range competitions and figure this would be a good place to start.
I have been told by a few friends at work that there are some suppressor manufactures offering a $200 rebate with a purchase of their suppressor. Are my co-workers full of it or is someone offering this deal?

I have tried my googlefu but have come up short. Can anyone direct me to any sort of real world data of the noise reduction of a 7.62 can on a 5.56? I am shopping for my first can and wanting to know how well a 7.62 can for my bolt gun will work on my AR.
I recently purchased a Falcon Menace 4-14x44 FFP and I am really happy with it. Now for the question. I have it zeroed at 100 yards and it is sitting in Warne Tactical Rings on a Warne Tactical 20 MOA and I have ran the JBM ballistic calculator for my rifle. If I want to shoot 500 yards it...
Has anyone been able to successfully make a zero stop for the menace? I think I have an idea on how to do it but I was looking for guidance from someone here who has already done it and have it work for them.
I am headed to some long range training in a couple of months and I am wondering which is the more cost effective route. Buying some 168 FGMM or buying the components and build me up some of my own. I will need to bring 300 rounds with me to training. may seem like a simple question but I am at...
So many times I hear of a new load being .XXX off the lands. How to I measure correctly to determine what my new loads need to be to properly seat my bullet to be the most accurate. FWIW I have looked and found the go/no go gauges and all that seems to show is if there is too much head space.
