    Any idea who makes the lowest height 34mm scope rings. Seekins advertise a 0.92 high option, is there a lower option. I'm trying to get the objective on my S&B scope closer to the barrel on my Remington .308

    Re: Remington 700 scope rail Its very difficult to get 34mm rings here in the UK, no one will ship, I have the Badger rings and want to use them, can source some rails over here, worse case I'll have to wait until my vacation in Palm Springs and buy something then, thanks for the advice.

    Recently got a Remington 700 .308 in an AI chassis. Rifle is fitted with a Ken Farrell scope rail. Problem is it seems to stand very high above the action, trying to mount a Schmidt PMII on it using Badger rings and there's way too much space between the bottom of the scope and the barrel...

    Bought my first Schmidt PMII to go on top of my Remington 700 and I'm struggling to find scope rings to suit, obviously Badger produce, not cheap, and so do Warne, don't like, but my question is who else, any information greatfully appreciated.
