    Lens Covers

I lost the eye piece cover for my new Leupolc BX-2 cascades. Does anyone know where & how you can order a replacement. How important are replacements and do the lenses scratch very easily?

    Butch's Bore Shine

I was recently recommended the stuff to use to remove some slight rust in the bore. The stuff seems to work incredibly well, every patch has been consistently dark even in what I thought was a relatively clean bore. I have read rumours that this may be because it can strip off the metal on...

    Gunsmithing Replacement Floorplates

I have managed to scratch the hell out of the floorplate on both of my rifles by not realising at some point that they have been rubbing up against an apparently highly abbraisve surface. The two rifles are a Weatherby Fibreguard/Vanguard and a Winchester 70SA heavy varmint. The mechanism itself...

    Weatherby Fibreguard .308

I am very close to signing on the dotted line for a good deal that includes a Weatherby Fibreguard .308 with a Leupold 4-12X scope. I was just wondering if I could get any last minute reviews if anyone has, or knows anyone who has, had experience with this rifle or weatherby's/.308's in general...

    Most Suitable Calibre

I live in Australia and usually go after varying game from rabbits up to roos. I have a .22-250 which is barely adequate for roos. I recently had an encounter with a large sow with a litter, needless to say my .22-250 was like a pea shooter. My rifle is also too heavy for lugging around the...

    Rifle Scopes Scope Lens cleaning

What types of products/techniques do you find most effective in removing dust, fingerprints etc without leaving scratches on the lenses? I always just use a rag or tissue but my scope appears slightly more blurry than it used to and it isn't my eye sight.

Getting a cleaning rod stuck halfway down the bore

..has to be about the scariest thing I've encountered while ever cleaning a rifle. It happened to me tonight, and I leave for a big hunt early in the morning. I'm ultra paranoid about keeping my rifle in good working order, but tonight i had a jag slip through the patch somehow and scrunch up...

Gunsmithing regarding cleaning rod rotation inside a barrel

Hey guys, sorry I'm bit of a newbie but I just had a quick question regarding how a cleaning rod acts whilst being pushed inside the bore. I have noticed with my only rifle (a .22-250) that when I run patches (pre-cut tetra-gun .22 cleaning strips) down the bore on a spear tipped jag, the rod...
