Both 1200TX and M82 have additional markings on the 12 o'clock position on the barrel that clearly identify them. I have one of the Numrich barrels - came off a Cadet single shot action. IMO your barrels are L81 or L81A Cadet rifle - proofed 1984. Ron (Canada)
See somebody has taken my hand produced sketches and put them into CAD - well done! The 1200TX/M82/Cadet barrels are the same profile. The difference is in the markings, barrel twist. Is see both barrels are proofed - I'll look up the build dates and post info. Ron (Canada)
Based on your dimensions this is for a Parker Hale L81 cadet action - Numrich has a ton of these for sale awhile back - std Mauser thread. Looks like both are drilled and tapped for a front sign block. any additional marking on the barrels? Ron (Canada)
What is the shank thread diameter? Can you determine the number of threads per inch? What is barrel length? If you can post this info can confirm. May be for No4 Enfield T4 or could be for Parker Hale 1200 family of rifles. Markings indicate 7.62x52 NATO or 308 Win barrel proofed at 20 Tonnes...

From what I can see you've got a commercial scope and bracket that somebody has affixed sniper numbers to leave the impression it's a LB sniper set up. It's a clone. Do you have the rifle this was on? if "yes" post a couple pictures of it. Ron (Canada)
Lyman commercial scopes and those used for the TP Program (approx 350) share many common components. They were both 2 1/2 power versus the higher power of the Brit or REL No32's. Ron (Canada)
SN should be engraved with a pantograph and slightly larger than those stamped on your bracket. Lower is commercial as is the upper bracket. Does the scope have a post? or is it cross hairs? Ron (Canada)
The scope and bracket are commercial made to appear to be a No32 TP (Canadian Long Branch Sniper Rifle). The lower bracket is Griffin and Howe commercial with clearance cut for the No4 ejector screw. The upper bracket is commercial with a Long Branch Serial Number Stamped "74L0196" not engraved...

C3 is a unique Canadian Sniper rifle not to be confused with the M82 issued to Australia and a few other NATO countries. It is great to see a Global following and I'm more than willing to answer any questions folks may have on their builds. The pictures posted are my own - first is the correct...
Always lots of confusion - CMP sold only USA released M1D's - sales numbers are available. Some of the records show 2385 were acquired by CMP from 1996 to 98. most sales in USA however a few were imported into Canada. The Danish contact is much smaller and was a surplus sale to 2 Canadian...
