Where is the "wife's rifle" thread?

Not as often as I should, unfortunately, but we're taking advantage of the good weather while it lasts!

Hey, that's my purple SPR! I wasn't sure I'd like the purple, so we just spray painted the barreled action. I love it so much I'm considering stripping it, ceracoating it blue, then spray painting it purple again, so when the back of the action chips where brass hits it, it's blue instead of...

Thank you so much for putting on the match! What a great place to go out and shoot. Unfortunate the number of pistol stages that have been showing up in matched lately though!!!! Below are my photos. If anyone wants me to take down a picture of them, I am happy to. Otherwise, if you want to...

Hi! Pumped for the match! Any word on stage descriptions, or will we just be showing up with 80 rnds + 12 rnds pistol and going from there? Also - any info on ground composition? Just curious if we're dealing with the fine volcanic ash like we get at Moses Lake?

I'm gonna miss next month's match (!!) because it's the weekend of the Master Gardener's annual plant sale, and the best place to acquire tomato plants suited to PNW weather. See you guys in June!

Excited for the march UNSC match. I'll be staying "behind" to keep an eye on the dogs (also, holy match fee!), so I'm gonna come get some practice, help out, take photos, etc.

    Rifle Scopes Glass for a .308 n00b!

I'd get this bad boy. Amazon.com: Bushnell Elite Tactical G2 FFP Reticle LRS Riflescope, 3-12x44mm: Sports & Outdoors I have an older version of this (mil-dot instead of mil-hash reticle) and it's a great scope. Reliable, and has taken a hell of a beating on a few different rifles. It's FFP...

Washington state monthly matches at Upper Nisqually Sportsman's Club

This match format was great! It was nice to be able to check out other people's guns (that was one of my favorite parts of the eastside matches) and the lineup was great! Great match direction. Also, I'm hoping that my finishing place wasn't a glitch and that I can blame all of my poor...

I may be off base here, but the way that I see it is a lot like autocrossing. When I was in high school, I had a pretty sweet station wagon. It handled like shit, but I liked driving it. I knew that one of the ways to improve was to get involved in autocross, which is basically driving around...
