New SPUHR IDEAL CHASSIS SYSTEM (SICS)

It’s homemade in brass. She was using a US made brake from a company who threatend to sue us, so I told her that you can no longer use their brake. She asked me to make a brake for her and i said yes no problem, what are my limitations? There is no limitations, you can make the brake as you...

New SPUHR IDEAL CHASSIS SYSTEM (SICS)

By far the most important feature. Almost all shooters i spoke to prior shooting sics would never alter the Lop in order to obtain correct eyerelief during course of fire and two months later all does it. Why having a 10000 dollar long range eig with zero compromises and then compromising with...

    Importance of changing Lop/eyerelief?

When it comes to the ERS I might and not might continue with it, the basic idea is as good as it was then but there is some issues left that I am less satisfied with. So I am continue to play with POI issues on AR but temporarily went another route. Here is one of the prototypes currently in...

    Importance of changing Lop/eyerelief?

What top competitors are and not are using are somewhat relevant but not totally. First we have a copycat thing where most shooters look at other winners and get a feeling ”if I just had that feature I would Gain a few more points and possibly win” So it becomes fashion and sometimes for a good...

    Importance of changing Lop/eyerelief?

I would not move scope around, espesially not in the field, on the fly as there is always a slight risk that some dirt get trapped betwen mount and picatinny.

    Importance of changing Lop/eyerelief?

Nobody have to use the LOP adjustment on the fly, it’s still there so you fast can change it for Winther clothing, wife or kids shooting or actually optimizing that really slow but tricky shot. There is still a lot of situations when it’s great even if you never do it on the fly. Håkan

    Importance of changing Lop/eyerelief?

Modern High magnified scopes are really picky with eyerelief and not forgiving at all. Mostly shooters adapt and do the best they can in the situation but I belive as I see a need of it that the distance in the future will be easy to change. Different clothing, ballistic armour, shooting stances...

New SPUHR IDEAL CHASSIS SYSTEM (SICS)

The reason why sics at all was designed is because I didnt like anything on the market sufficiently to use it. LOP First priority is the LOP length of pull, but not LOP in the traditional manners as buttplate to trigger but instead buttplate to scope. Modern high magnified optics are really...

Mount questions spuhr vs mpa vs ?

Yes! Of we compare to a screw, 95% of a screws torque is lost in friction, by adding lubricant we change that so we loose about 85% in friction. same thing happends betwen rings and picatinny, 95% of torque is lost in friction and rings are not properly seated on picatinny. When scope gets an...

Mount questions spuhr vs mpa vs ?

Hi When it comes to secondary sights on long range guns I see great use of it for other things than close range... I am using a 12o'clock mounted secondary to faster find the target. For example on a PRS match there is often targets not visiable for the eye, but there is something close easaly...

    Rifle Scopes Spuhr vs, ARC

For those who prefer a light mount that is only four screw we also have our hunting series of rings and mounts. There is no built in level, and there is not as much possibilitys when it comes to attachments, but there is 1-2 for those who needs it.

    Rifle Scopes Spuhr vs, ARC

Here is the picture I see when i am aiming throgh the scope. Level is seen with left eye as right eye looks through the scope. A separate level is more visiable, obviously. But this is there always, never lost...

Rifle Scopes Question on Spuhr Instructions regarding Rosin

Oringally we wrote 15-25 depending on scopemanufacturer. But today we recoomend 25 as most manufacturers approves that.

Rifle Scopes Question on Spuhr Instructions regarding Rosin

Nope, you don't need it. You need it for very heavy recoil, but most important is to NOT clean of the wax of the screws as that will greatly limit the torque holding the scope in the rings. Rosin is as written above a small insurance to not get any ringmarks, now there is a minimum risk of...
