The method to see mirage with a spotting scope is to focus on your target and then make a 1/4 turn back. Could I do this with my rifle scope or is there a reason I should not? Just something I thought of. Thanks, John

I tried to do a search real quick on this so if anyone has a link or info on this I would appreciate it. So what my question is, is it a good idea to cant my rifle to fit me better and then level out your scope? I have heard that high power shooters do this and was thinking about trying it out...
Re: SWFA SS Classic Line in Mil/Mil So I have a 20" precision AR15. And I would like to take it out as far as I can, so far I have gone out to 760yrds. And looking at these scopes I would like to put a 16 or 20 on my rifle. I am mostly punching paper or ringing steel. What do you guys...
Re: M&P or Glock Glock all the way. I carry a gen 1 G17. Never has it failed me the most I have done was replace some springs ,for preventive messieurs not cause I had to,and up graded sights. A buddy of mine blew up his G21 from buying reloads from some guy at a gun show(NEVER DO THIS)that...

Re: Tripod vs Bipod Also don't forget the use of both together. For example I deployed my bipod legs and rested that on the trunk of my car and used the tripod(very flimsy cheep POS)to support the rear of the rifle. I had to do this at a place I used to shoot at as the veg was over grown. But...

Re: Using Mirror for Optical Centering? I messed around with this for the first time, pretty cool. Then I came up with a question. Would this be a viable method to test tracking? I mean if you find the optical center and zero out your turrets then dial up, down, left, and right as far as you...
Re: Rear bag design and usage I agree with Sterling Shooter. When I set up my position I do it with out the bag first. That way I know my NPA and everything is true. And then I will bring in the bag(with my support hand)to support my proper position. I have found this method works for me the...
Re: Rear bag design and usage When using "tube" style bags I lay it on the ground with the strap(strap that runs from top and bottom)on top. So all I have to do is slip my hand in the strap and rotate my hand up. So its the rotation of my hand that fine tunes my elevation and I can still...
Re: Zero changing From what I could see it seemed like your finger was coming of the trigger a little to easy. When you brake the shot your finger should remain on the trigger with it fully depressed to the rear until the recoil is over(follow through). And I would also suggest that you have...
