Look at the FNX-9. Better ergos than the Glock. Very soft shooting and high capacity as well. If you want striker fired, then the FNS 9 will work. You can get one cheaper than $700 and have some $$ left for ammo or accessories. I still have my G19 but prefer my FNX.
Sorry to hear of your problems with FN. I have several FN pistols and all have functioned and performed 100%. I may not have as many rds through but all have functioned without hesitation or stumble. You hear of problems with anyone of the manufacturers but customer service can go a long was...
There are no haters. Ergos are better than a Glock. They fit well even with small hands. That coming from a Glock shooter. Only problem you will have is buying just the .45. You will also need a 9mm to go with it. Shoots very well with an Osprey on the front.
This is what I went with - MK18 Clones on SALE! 10.5" Upper Complete w BCG & Rail $450 Shipped & Free Shirt! - AR15.COM . Wasn't a bad deal with BCG and charging handle. Will post up pics when I get it finished. Thanks.
I have put together an AR pistol lower. Now the hunt begins for a upper. Cannot decide if I want to go 7.5 or 10.5 on the upper. Would like to have a piston driven upper but not really a big factor. Have looked at Adams Arms, JSE, Red X, and a few others. My brain hurts from all the...
I would leave the Colt alone. If you want a great 1911 with a TB check out a Sig 1911 Tac Ops with a TB. Sig makes a great 1911 with great options. The 1911 barrel is not a drop in option like a Glock or Sig. Other than that, just get a barrel for the Glock or Sig. They are usually drop in...
Had a G35 but could never really get comfortable with it. I do usually prefer Glock since I do own a 19, 27, 23, 29, 20, and a few other. They are easy to use and maintain. That being said, I just purchased a FNS 9mm. The ergos of the FNS have the Glock beat hands down. Have to go pick up...
I really like my Hidden Holster. The fleece backing makes it a very comfortable holster to use. I can wear mine all day without any issues. Tucks against the body very well.
I have several 22 options to go with my Sparrow. Sig P220 Combat & Sig P229 non rail(with Sig .22 conversions) or Glock 23 with an Advantage Arm .22 kit. All have run will with good ammo.
