    Re: barrel inspection thanks for all the info. I have already ordered another colt Socom barrel to replace this one. As far as the squib I was in a timed match and did not hear the primer fire (thought it was a miss fire.....this will NEVER happen again timed or not)

    I had an AR explode on me the other day it destroyed the upper and lower receiver, it split the bolt carrier in half. However the barrel appears to escaped unscathed but I do not trust it. Does anyone know who could inspect it?
