Re: EBR MOD 1 SCOPE QUESTION
My USO has a 44mm objective and with low USO rings on top of a LT-608 there is about .5" clearance above the top rail and a little less than a .25" clearance above the front part of the LT-608.should have no problems with a 50mm objective. Like H20 said, for a...
Re: My attempt at a mk14 mod 1 build
EBRbuilder,
I have 300 rds down rage with it in its current configuration. After our previous discussions(pm's), some things were a little loose. I tightened everything up nice and snug and am now just waiting for my face to heal enough to get a proper...
Re: My attempt at a mk14 mod 1 build
As soon as my face heals I'll get a range report. Most likely with DAG surplus, XM80 and FGMM 175 SMKs. My hopes aren't too high, basically just looking for "minute of man" out to 800. Will only be able to shoot to 200 for now, and eventually 600 when...
Re: My attempt at a mk14 mod 1 build
thank you...I waited about 20 weeks for the USO, worth every penny spent and every minute waited. I was amazed at the quality when I opened the box. Those guys are great to deal with too, I went back and forth for the first couple weeks deciding on options...
Re: My attempt at a mk14 mod 1 build
and before someone asks, the stock is pinned and I would love a suppressor and vortex but im in a communist state, hence the small mag lol...gotta get out of jersey.
Re: My attempt at a mk14 mod 1 build
It was H2O Man's pics that persuaded me into building one. Very satisfying rifle to shoot. I probably would have spent less money and time on an AR10/SR25 type setup and achieved better results but M1A+Sage chassis=sex haha.
It started as a Springfield Scout. Shot it once then installed the Sage MOD 1 chassis, SADLAK spring guide and gas piston. Early summer received the Larue lt-608 mount and color matched USO SN3 1.8-10 EREK knob mil/mil with windage on the left. Haven't really had a chance to shoot it much so I...
Re: EBR accuracy help
Thank you for all the help thus far. Gas system was tight. The rifle cycles/operates flawless, just with piss poor accuracy. From reading on the internet, it appears the way to achieve accuracy with m1a's is to throw money and quality smith work at it. Which I am trying...
I know I'm relatively new(long time lurker) but I am in need of some help.
I have a SA made M1A scout in a sage chassis(mod 1), which i love but it is starting to frustrate me. Went to the range today to figure out what load she favors(recently received my optic, sn3 1.8-10x44). Tried corbon...
Re: sage ebr optics mounting ?s
Thank you..
By the way, being that I am just some joe shmoe and you and your company treat me the way you do, I have been fully converted to a USO whore for life .
Re: sage ebr optics mounting ?s
If that is going to match better then yes. I wasn't sure what the finish was. It appears to be a grayish tan, that kind of flip flops based on its surroundings. I could give sage a call and try to get some info out of them. Also, is it too late to change my...
Re: sage ebr optics mounting ?s
Thank ýou both. Looks like ill be needing to call up US0 and change the rings on my order to lows .I'll post the obligitory pics in 4-5 months when I get my glass...
Thanks again
Re: sage ebr optics mounting ?s
I have the mod 1 chassis, it uses an ar buffer tube extension and a magpul ctr stock. I am beat for the awesome adjustability that the mod 0 stock offers. You guys should actually have the top rail of my sage stock right now :), I sent it in for color matching...
I have been having trouble getting good answers on what to do. I am attempting to mount a US optics sn3 1.8-10x44 on an m1a in a sage mod 1 chassis. Currently I was planning to use a larue lt-608 and us optics high rings but I am worried the scope may be too high to get a good cheek weld using...
Re: M1A troy or SAGE stocks??
Thanks h2o.
To the op, get the sage and never look back(preferably the mod1). Its light(relatively) and super comfortable to shoot.
Re: M1A troy or SAGE stocks??
Hi, new here...I don't mean to hijack the thread but h2o man would you mind pm'ing me info on the 1.25" risers? I would be very interested in one or two of them in fde as I am using a mod 1 chassis and may need some more height for the cheek riser(larue lt-608...
