Can see heartbeat bounce crosshairs a lot. Issue with the stock (PRS)?

I have been a member here for 4 years, lost my post count in the conversion a few months back. I too, have that heartbeat problem and notice the crosshairs jumping at 100yds. Other than my Service time in the late 60's as a 11 B 10, I have had no formal training,so when I saw this thread under...

    Need a 123 AMAX load for a BeanLand 6.5x47!

That seems really lots of RL15 for a 123 gr, I use 39.5 and am pushing it, No way could my Beanland,Stiller-Bartlein digest that without a big problem. You must be turning 3200 fps or more. Easy E thanks for correcting that, someone would be in for a bad day trying that original load...

    Stupid question

Rob 01 thank you for the insight regarding the colors of the mods, was not aware of it, the OP asked a simple straightforward question without a lot of of posts(experience) with the site and what he got from me was a simple straightforward answer. The rest I assume seemed to ridicule or demean...

The Damage Wrought by the Gun Lobby

Does anyone know just exactly what information will be included in the proposed background checks that is so much in favor by 80% of the population. How can you be in favor of something if you do not know the specifics of such.

Getting a pup used to shooting.

I raised English Pointers for years, can not even guess the number of litters. A gunshy pointer is backfill for a hole, nothing more nothing else. As such I would shoot a blank 22 around them from the day they were born at a distance and closer and closer and then at feeding time I would shoot...

Mark Kelly - Giffords is having a bad day

Wonder how many children are killed or maimed in a year by Pit bulls, and the like. Maybe Gifford and Kelly need to go on a road show for banning those type of assault dogs. By the way I am a dog lover, just a metaphor regarding the PIT BULL.

Gunsmithing Getting a new barrel, should i have the action trued?

Get it trued, most smiths are hesitant to put a new barrel on and untrued 700 action. Yes it should shoot under MOA, IF you can shoot under a MOA, most guns are limited to potential accuary by the shooter and not the gun.

Hunting & Fishing SD/WY Prairie Doggin?

PHXFA, did you shoot on the reservation? Heard the plague hammered them hard the last two years, We shot around Wood on private land, SPOOOOKY dogs, went into the hole at the sight of a Pickup and stayed down. Also heard the REZ was no lead only.

Hunting & Fishing SD/WY Prairie Doggin?

We quit Winner a few years ago, everything has been leased by "outfitters" fee range from 300-500 per gun per day. Plague and just overgunning has hurt that area. Most ranchers want a tresspass fee to shoot on them if they have not leased out. Many of those ranchers used to spend money to...

Who pays for the burned cabin?

Re: Who pays for the burned cabin? I think I read somewhere that the LAPD deemed Dorner a domestic terrorist. I believe that most insurance policies exempt any claim of damage responsibility cauded by war, nuclear, or terrrorism, any insurance agents please chime in.

    Gunsmithing .223 Ackley chambers?

Re: .223 Ackley chambers? Not sure how my chamber was cut. I am in the process of fireforming and finding the "right" load, Varget with 69 SMK seem to be the ones. I am fireforming with 55 gr jammed, if not I am not getting the primers to fire(pushing case forward without ignition) jamming...
