    Best use of limited resources?

I already dryfire in my house when the sun goes down and at the range before making a live shot. I am more interested in what should I do with live fire

    Best use of limited resources?

Due to a wonderfully limited mix of reloading component availability and expendable income I have found it difficult to go out and shoot a couple hundred rounds at a time and not think twice. So my question is, does anybody have any advice as to the most beneficial way to practice with say...

    Specs on Custom die?

Re: Specs on Custom die? I am very sorry to say that 150 is slightly high for me, I will consider it but I will shop around abit more.

    Specs on Custom die?

Re: Specs on Custom die? Also, on another note, a redding FL custom die will cost 100$ give or take. To buy a high quality neck sizer only is around 60ish, plus a bushing or two is 10-20 bucks. So in the end I am not really saving a considerable amount.

    Specs on Custom die?

Re: Specs on Custom die? Thank you both for responding. To solve some variables this is what I have so far. I am going to use NOTHING but Lapua 308 Brass under any circumstances (Unless the company starts slacking that is). I currently do not turn my brass but once I get the die and brass...

    Specs on Custom die?

Hi again everybody! Thank you all for helping/responding to my last post, I have another one thats more of a question/poll. As of now I will call redding asking them to make a custom die that gives .0015 neck tension. I was wondering if anyone else out there with custome dies would tell me...

Buying Dies/brass need some quick help!

Okay, I know this is probably a stupid question but here it goes because I need the answer. I am in possession of a rifle worthy of custom dies, HOWEVER, in order to get redding custom dies I need 3 fired brass. So, do I only order the new Lapua brass and a Bullet seater and I am good? Or do I...

    Varget questions?

Re: Varget questions? Thanks for the input so far. One of the reasons I was looking into varget is the fact that it handles heat well. Also, I would like to spend my time shooting and not reloading. That being said I do spend time on case prep, not as much as I should. So I was trying to...

    Varget questions?

Okay, so I am going to receive a .308 pretty soon and plan on shooting 175 SMK's due to the twist rate. So far I have found everything out except for the powder. Of course no one can say X powder is the best, but most agree that Varget is used most. However I read alot of posts and articles...

    Photos took the lady shooting...

Re: took the lady shooting... Haha, I find it funny that out of the 3 other guys taking shots with this AR she had the best hit ratio. Sadly she did not want to shoot the big gun (furthest from her) 300 Win Mag.

    Q's on a accurized R700?

Re: Q's on a accurized R700? Understood, and I have thought about that. However once it comes down to it, after examining the action, the bolt face is trued, the bolt trued, and the lugs appear trued, so I can safely assume the rest is trued. I just want to be sure. As for rebarreling, the...

    Q's on a accurized R700?

Re: Q's on a accurized R700? One other such thing I must consider is this. If I choose not to get this rifle, my only other option would be to save for a few more months and order a custom GAP in a templar action, meaning after the wait and whatnot I will get the rifle the summer I graduate...

    Q's on a accurized R700?

Re: Q's on a accurized R700? Well the ABS I reeeeally doubt that it is the correct twist, if it is I will use it, but I doubt it. As for the amount of money used, I am aware the barrel costs more than the action and I will deal with such later. Right now my concern is if the action is trued...

    Q's on a accurized R700?

Re: Q's on a accurized R700? I am unsure of the question. If you are refering to to if I think the action is completly trued or not I think that it is, only based on the following: It shot .75 MOA at 100 leaning off a car window, shooting in the wind, standing, crappy military surplus...
