New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Midwest Gun works sold lots of FN parts for the SPR. I would send them an email or call and i bet they can point you in right direction if not have the part you need. Hope the link works

Why would you need a "permission slip" for a bolt action? I live in NY. Haven't bought a rifle in a little while but never needed any paperwork for it. Just curious if some law just changed?
It used to be. Not sure why it changed. I lost a few items in the past after stating I'd take it, to get a PM saying they are negotiating with someone and will get back to me if they don't take it.
Somone better buy this. I'm just repeating " I have to many 308s, I want a marlin 336 in 30-30, I just bought a side by side shotgun"
Nice rifle. Don't think it will last long if anyone from the vintage rifle thread comes across this.
I have two GAP rifles. Sold my 3rd which I regret. As stated before they had/have a strong following. They make great rifles BUT their are plenty of gunsmiths these days that can build quality rifles. Would I wait a year to have another one built. Probably not if I can have the same rifle...
If I had 5k I'd buy a used Tac ops rifle. Have buyer send it to Mike for inspection before final payment and have one of the most accurate rifles consistently built.
As for gunsmith charging you $1000? It's been awhile since I had one built but
Bedding $300
Chamber barrel $300
Thread barrel...
