    Lyman universal case trimmer

    Barrel contour

    I plan to build with a 22in barrel. Is there a site with a good explanation of what the barrel countour would look like at 22? I guess I can do the math, but I'm sure someone has built something more interactive. Does anyone know the contour for the FN patrol med-heavy barrel?

    Does anyone shoot at Memphis Sport Shooting Assn?

    I want to get started shooting long distance, but from what I can find, the only range around is MSSA. It seems a little much, but if it's the only range around, then I guess that's what I have to use. Just looking for opinions of the range and any contacts in the area.

    243 to 308?

    Once you have a rifle in 308, get another barrel in 243, how hard is it to switch between barrels? I intend to put together a rifle, but would like the option for either 243 or 308.

    Stock question for Ruger M77 Mk II

    I have a M77 MkII LA, looking at the HS Precision PSS and the Bell and Carlson Carbelite. To me, they appear to be almost the same stock. Is it worth the extra $150 for the HS? I would like whichever one has a fatter foreend. Let me know if you know of any good prices for either.

    To buy or build, that is the question

    I'm sure this has been visited, but what is the build cost vs buy cost for a build on a surgeon 591 action? Assuming all the parts are the same, is it cheaper to buy a surgeon or GAP complete on the 591, or is it cheaper to get in on the surgeon group sale and commence rounding up all the parts?

    Rifle Scopes Ruger M77 scope base

    Is there a good solution for a scope base for the proprietary Ruger scope base system? I want to get away from the factory rings and would like to use a standard base rail. Is there a base that attaches to the Ruger notches, or is it better to just get it drilled and tapped?
