I know this was just released, along with the Mountaineer and Mountaineer LR, but curious if anyone has had the opportunity to handle the new ELR Hunter from McMillan. I searched and didn't find any results, but if there is a thread on this already, please post a link. Thanks!

Catwhacker - yeah, you've seen us at Graham before. We're probably not going to hunt tournaments this year and focus on filming. It seems like we always say screw bringing the camera when we hunt tournaments because it's just an added PITA, and that's when we hunt the best country.

This is my most successful attempt to blow the head completely off of something (been trying a long time). The result is from a 75gr Vmax out of a 6mm AI at 17 yards.

Camera got screwed up, but there's 14 in this pile.

The Tenebraex covers are leaps and bounds tougher than BC covers. The only downside to them (at least on the Premiers I've had) is that you can't mount the scope quite as low. Even if you turn them to open to the side, they're still going to require some space.

Re: stiller tac30 aw with AICS mags? I'm running AI mags in my TAC 30 AW, mainly because I haven't gotten around to buying any AW mags

Re: 6mm decision.... For your intended use, I'd go plain vanilla .243 and if you just absolutely need it to have a cool, sexy name, do a 6x47L.
