I built a rifle for a friend of mine who shoots there sometimes in matches. He shoots well in them. I think that’s the same range, there are several 800-1000 yd ranges that host matches in Ga/Sc. Just do it....
I don't know if it has been posted or not. Leupold has a moa based reticle ready to install for the 6.5-20 mk4 and vx3 line. I got mine back yesterday. I like it.
I don't know how effective it would be on a drill press. On a mill it's easy to find the edge's and dial it in once you get the correct measurements. Also I still mill the length of the threads. The knobs I have , have varying thread depths so I thread the whole shank , screw the knob down and...

I was going to purchase the brownells bolt lug lapping tool for the Remington 700. They were out of stock of one gun kits but had an individual 700 sleeve and an individual bolt tool body. My question is , does either one come with a plunger for the bolt body? Thanks
I have put about one hundred rounds through my .308 since I built my 6.5x47. Twelve hundred fifty rounds through the six-five since its birth last February. Half the recoil and a lot better trajectory.
