Tipton 22-26 caliber carbon fiber cleaning rod use
I bought this rod today at Cabelas for use with my AR-15, Rem .270, and my trusty 30-30. I looked at getting the .27-.45 rod too but I just figured this one would work for all three just fine. Whats the point in having a rod for the AR and a sightly thicker one for the 30-30 and the .270...- cdj588

Length and type of cleaning rod for Rem 700
Im looking to get a one piece cleaning rod but I want one that will fit and work with my 30-30 and my AR. Obvious the Rem 700 is the longer of the three rifles so 1. What length is the minimum to clear my 24 inch Rem 700 .270? I was thinking 36 inches but I dont know if that will be long...- cdj588

I just got my first bolt action rifle a Remington 700 ADL and a Bushnell 4200 Elite now I am looking to get a good set of reings and mounts.
