    I have had it out a dusk and I see your point, It does work well without the chance of destroying your night vision, but optimally with 11 settings they could have brightened it up a bit and let the shooter choose the setting. My question I guess was is this the norm, or is mine not working proper.

    I just got mine three days ago and I ordered Dec. 18. The scope is great, but I don't think the illumination isn't right, I can't see is on anything lower than an 8 setting and really have to squint to see it on 11 and that's with new batteries.     Re: ultra sonic cleaner question If anyone was interested in that Horndy ultrasonice cleaner, the same one is sold as "Kendal Pro 4800 on a web called " The Shinning Image" for 62.95. I have no idea hqw they look though. I was concidering one myself.
