You are way off for match fee. The first match of 2024, The Leupold Steel Classic has gone up to $325 and there are 20 squads of 12 so far = $80k. Put on a few 2-day matches and some 1-days alongside and the numbers rack up pretty quickly.
So in an example where the offset is 3” high; if you put your reticle in the middle of a 5” target/vital zone at 600 yards then the laser will go over the plate. Guess you can aim your reticle st the bottom of the plate if we know this is the way to do it ??
If your laser sits 3” higher than your scope and you adjust for that in the set-up as they show us in the videos; will the laser always be aiming 3” higher than the centre of any target you range at any distance beyond 100 yards ?
So am I understanding this correctly that you have to dial your turret back to zero every time you range a target, given the 4000 is indexed to a 100 yard zero ? If this is taller than a Raptor, do you guys recommend a low(er) diving board height ?
I’ve shot more PRS matches this year with my ATX than my custom match rifle. I won’t win using either so I just use what I enjoy. I’ve shot most matches in Tac Class, some using a 6BR in Open and even a .260 Rem for a hunter match where I ditched all the weigtts. It’s flexible and little...
It’s not a maintenance issue. My comp trigger was installed without the first stage travel adjustment screw and the over-travel adjustment screw ! I reached out to the manufacturer who promised to send me some spares, I offered to pay too. 6 emails and 7 months later I’ve still not been sent...
If you want a full proof solution to your AT-X if it’s not feeding properly then go with a shim. Since it has been installed, I’ve not had a single failure and that includes 6BR with the HRD kit in a standard AW mag (also works flawlessly with the AT-X mag). 6.5CM, 260 Rem, .308 Win all work...
AI sent it to try. 3-months later i can only say good things. They will ship with all new AT-Xs and AI dealers should be able to order it for you. Might take a while as I think they are made in the UK.
