    Question for Savage Podcast

Another one would be have they addressed the ejection issue sometimes seen with Savage bolts. Sometimes with the Savages they sometimes drop from the extractor early before the ejector can eject the round. Typically this has been due to a sloppy fit with the extractor.

    bought a 700 today

Gotcha, this long range stuff is just as addicting as all the diesel stuff that we have done in the past. I'm sure that you will enjoy the rifle once you get everything back and put together. If you plan on reloading in the future and needs some tips let me know and I will be happy to help.

Savage Bolt Head Damaged on my brand new rifle...take a look

It won't functionally affect a thing with the way the rifle performs. That being said it obviously bothers you which will always be in he back of your mind and you will never shoot the rifle to its full potential.

    Mark II FV Stock Build

Works great. I buy the biggest flip flop I can and cut it out on a bandsaw. It is Jb welded to a piece of 1/2" plywood this is what holds it to the rifle stock. You can also add more pieces of plywood to add length if needed. It holds up great I mean if it will go a summer with some couple...
