I have never seen one that wasnt over gassed unless you drill the gashole a little at a time till its just right.especially on a factory barrels.Adjustable gas blocks are the way to go.If you are shooting suppressed adjustable gas blocks are a must in my opinion.
Dont worry you are not the first person this has happened to.I have had this problem on a couple of rifles. Ar10 rifles need breaking in sometime. You probably have an over gassing problem most likely. It causes the extractor to jump over the rim of the brass.Your gas block will fix the...
I have had several AR 10 platforms. Some of them require several hundred rounds to get everything broke in.Some AR barrels need those several hundred rounds through Them to start shooting.Just my experience.AR 10 platform rifles are an animal all their own.
Great sight i have had one for years.I have it on a .308 16 in barrel now and the lines roughly work out to 400 on 8 in steel.Just go out one day and make your own data sheets it will be fun anyway.I dont think you will see much difference between m193 and m855.The heavys may require a little...
Try 24.5 grs of H335 and a Hornady 55 fmj in Remington brass.I have shot thousands with good results.I like some of the others have shot some of my best .223 groups with this load.
It should be a 173 gr full metal jacket bullet. It should be loaded with ball powder probably w846.It may or may not shoot to your satisfaction. It should be good enough to shoot steel.Who knows your rifle may shoot it fine.Good luck Richard
