    I have a Gemtech Quicksand can and asked them for their recommendation. They say it depends on the twist rate of your barrel as to how short you can go. My barrel on my 300 is a 1 - 8" twist. Gemtech says you want the length to be the same as the twist rate so I am gonna have mine cut to 8"...

    I just went to WSF simply because that is all I could get in volume at this time and it works great. W231,700x and Unique have worked well in the past.

    I have a Quicksand and couldn't be happier with it. Yes it is rated up to a 300WM. I use it on a M700 308, 300 Blackout AR and on my SCAR 17.

    I run a Gemtech Quicksand on my 300 Blackout with 16 in barrel and love it. It wills soon be a 10 inch barrel. A good friend runs a Thunderbeast Can and it has had no problems. Both are titanium.
