    New .260 on the way!

The USO 3.2-17x is just to see how the Cason shoots next to my LRP-07, that is it. I think I mentioned that. As light as the gun is, 1 to 10 seems about right.

    Keyboard defilade serves you well.

    New .260 on the way!

Wanna be the grammar police? Have to mess with you. The USO is on there to test the gun. Not sure what the final optic will be. You did not say what is better than the Larue . . . . . . . and you called me an ass, I can call you pretty much anything from here on out.

    New .260 on the way!

Totally suckered you with the "to" - "too" thing. I knew you could not resist correcting it. :-) I can only afford one $3k scope at the moment. What is a better mount that is easy to move from gun to gun?

    New .260 on the way!

Not sure about the Loc-tite. I'll ask. I've got a PRS waiting in the wings if the Ergo does not work out. I have a former Special Operations corpsman that works for me hoping this Cason works out for me so he can have my LRP-07. :-)

    New .260 on the way!

Can and did, and why the hell not? The USO is only 18.5" with the ARD. Got something better you want to loan me to test with? Also swapped in a GA SD-C and function checked it. Ran great! Soft, cycled perfectly. Next I'll do some groups with this gun and my LRP-07.

    New .260 on the way!

It's here! I can not wait to shoot it. I'm planning on shooting this along with an LRP-07 in .260 this weekend. Going to use a USO 3.2-17 in Larue mounts to test. It weighs right at 9lb with no glass. Not sure if I like the Ergo stock yet or not. I have a PRS waiting to go on just in case...

    Sketchy Lyman Scale

Seems like most of the ~$100 scales are the same chi-com crap. An MTM DS-750 is <$50 and will be as useful as any of the other under $100 scales. We've sold a ton of the MTM at my store and have yet to have one come back or have anyone bitch. I got a CED Professional Electronic Scale that was...

Just curious...whats your BATTLE READY Precision AR (556) weigh?

I have those exact boots, Bates USMC. If that gun weighs under 14lbs as pictured I'd be really surprised.

Dumb question; will a MagPul ACS stock fit on a KAC SR25?

I keep hearing just about any collapse-able (I did not say adjustable) stock was a bad idea on the .308 platform AR. No? I've used plenty of UBR and PRS without issue.

    Springfield M1A

I gave up shooting my M1A with the Springfield stock on it so my M1A has been rotting in my safe (well almost) for the last two years while I've been waiting for stock from JAE. I've been told "next month" again, so fingers crossed.

    New .260 on the way!

Brad at Cason Engineering put the following together for me. Lilja 18 in Barrel rifle length gas system Cason Engineering Enhanced Bolt and Low Mass Carrier Surefire Muzzle Break (Cason makes a nice Titanium brake, but I'm running a suppressor) Cason Engineering 23 oz Billet Receivers...

Figured out why this gun was a good deal.

Took the winchester out this weekend and shot it, nothing wrong with the barrel it has. The stock however has to go, adjustable stocks really spoil you quick.

Figured out why this gun was a good deal.

Let me see if the tube it has is any good and then I may just do that.

Figured out why this gun was a good deal.

The Flexhone showed up this morning and about 5 minutes later the burr in the chamber is gone. Short range test fired it this evening and all seems to be well. I will try some distance this weekend.

    RRA Match vs Geissle S2G

I tried to like the RRA 2-Stage, no go. I've installed ~50 Geissle triggers over the last few years in personal and customer guns. I've yet to see any AR trigger come close to the Geissle. Zero failures to date. The only problem you may have is picking the wrong trigger for your application...

Figured out why this gun was a good deal.

I do a fare amount of pistol work and have some flex hones (.522 to .555) I normally use for smoothing out .45 chambers available. Should I even bother?
