Was looking at getting one for 260, but then I though that the 308 one should work for it as well, and for 7mm-08, 243, etc. Is there any reason that the 308 body die would not work for all of the smaller caliber 308-based cartridges? Has anyone else used their 308 body die for this?
I'm curious why no standards ever came about for some type of notch or groove on the bottom of the scope tubes to match up with the appropriate rings, ensuring that the scope is level. Thought about this while mounting a scope last night; it would be pretty easy to implement on scopes, and it...
I've tried other, butler creek and shooters ridge mags with unnervingly high failure-to-feed rates (different mags in different 10/22s as well). Saw these in the local shop the other day and I'm curious if they work as well as the standard 10-round rotary magazine. Anyone try them out yet?
Picked this up last week from my local gun shop. Really happy with the fit and feel of it. Clicks are extremely tactile, and completely blow my old Bushnell 4200 3-12x50 out of the water. I had it out over the weekend (didn't get to shoot it yet, sadly), and I noticed quite the...

Has anyone else noticed that the meplat on FGMM (at the least 168gr stuff) is smooshed in about 10 thousandths? Measuring cartridge O.A.L. yields approx. 2.800", however, when I use a bullet seater to set a new bullet at the same point on the ogive and depth, the O.A.L. is about 0.01" longer...
With the rather large and growing interest in Mil-reticle scopes with mil adjustments, how come many still refer to their guns as MOA accurate or 1/2 MOA? When do you think we'll start calling our rifle "point-2 mil", "point-one mil" accurate or similar? Just sayin'
Hey Everyone, FNG here. Just bought a Bushnell Elite Tactical 4200 FFP 3-12x. On a college budget here, so wanted to find something that had a good bang for the buck, and it seemed to get fairly good review here (did a lot of research here on what to buy, thanks everyone for the reviews...
