    Gunsmithing Savage 10 sear not catching when bolt closed fast.

    I adjusted it for a heavier pull and it happens less frequently, but if I push the bolt forward quickly the striker does not cock. The thumb safety won't move and I need to re-cycle the bolt. Anyone know if this is a common problem or what the solution might be?

    Ordering a Noveske .308. Do I want a 14.5" or 21"
