I need to get pics up of my Rem 783 build. I went with an Xcalibur M24 contour barrel in 6.5CM, and put the action in one of the last XLR chassis that XLR will probably ever make.

What is that enclosed front end on your chassis? The original KRG had a weaver rail on theirs, is it removable?

Gen3 handguards are hard on the hands with its sharp edges. Otherwise I love mine, but miss my Gen2 handguards.

I believe it is personal preference; some say the aftermarket knob enhances the bolt operation, many just want a color or shape mod. For me, the stock bolt knob is comfortable to operate, and I like black rifles...

For those of us that took advantage of the 6.5CM barreled action sale at Eurooptic (2019), it would be nice to be able to buy just the limited edition Snipershide Chassis from Ashbury... Sniper Gray would be my color of choice <grin>

I too have the Remington 700 Long Range chambered in 30.06. I picked the rifle up for $695 from Grabagun. After adding scope, base, rings and bi-pod, I have well over $1700 in my rifle, so you did good for $1000! Any pics of the new-to-you rifle?
