How long the ammo will keep depends on the environmental conditions and on how you store it. I know some people use airtight containers and dessicant dry-packs.
For setting torque, I use Borka Tools. Although there are many other torque drivers/wrenches than can do the job, Borka works great for my clumsy fingers.

It's a solution made of one part vinegar and one part hydrogen peroxide.
Supposedly it's very effective, but also very toxic after it eats up the lead deposits.
After each session (typically 100 rounds), I run a Hoppe's bore snake twice through the barrel, and use Q-tips w/ CLP to clean/lube the bolt and breech face.
