    Pad for kydex cheek riser

Re: Pad for kydex cheek riser I sent them a question via the form on their website. They had a prompt response and explained that the shipping should be around $6 via USPS, of course depending on the number ordered. Now just have to decided on a color...

    Pad for kydex cheek riser

Re: Pad for kydex cheek riser I'd be interested to know how good the adhesive is on the SeaDek. I would assume since its a marine product its fairly good at withstanding the weather. I will probably send the company an email about the shipping, probably something that could fit in a $5 flat...

    hs precision worst stock ever

Re: hs precision worst stock ever I read through most of the posts but didn't really find my answer. If this were a factory part on a Savage gun, I would assume the warranty would be through Savage and not HS? Or at least thats where I would start. And just for the record I own 2 HS...

    difference between hard cases?

Re: difference between hard cases? I do believe that the Storm line is lower grade then the Pelican line. Pelicans are watertight, dustproof and crush proof, Storms are only watertight.

    Which hard gun case?

Re: Which hard gun case? I would go for Pelican instead of Storm. Storm is now part of Pelican, but a a lower grade in a sense; softer plastics. Pelican cases are "Watertight, crushproof and dustproof." Storm cases are only "waterproof." Yeah Storm is good, but Pelican is better.

Rifle Scopes Premier Reticle Scopes, Good or Bad

Re: Premier Reticle Scopes, Good or Bad I'd argue that Premier is a first tier scope, I'm willing to bet by a long shot that I'm not the only one that thinks this way either. Personally, I traded a S&B 4-16x50 for my Premier. The customer service I've experienced with Plange was first rate...

    Damn cliff swallows

Re: Damn cliff swallows Damage? Maybe possible, probably not. I stopped counting after 100 nests, so that makes them a nuisance, which is my primary concern. I've dealt with just a few barn swallows when I lived in Montana, they were a pain in the ass. Besides, all the nests make the...

    Damn cliff swallows

So I'm a few short days from closing on my first house, got a great deal and I'm very excited. Its a "new" home, a foreclosure with construction started in 2007 but never finished or lived in. Its a stucco exterior that seemed to attract every cliff swallow for 30 miles. I know to use a hose...

    Remington 788 long action 308

Re: Remington 788 long action 308 I have a 788 in .308 win. It's a very old gun but accurate and reliable. I'm not sure what kind of stock you're interested in. MidwayUSA has Ram-Line synthetic stocks for it, not sure of their quality but its an option. Also Numrich has a decent selection...

Rifle Scopes 2 thumbs up for Premier!

Re: 2 thumbs up for Premier! Good to hear as mine will be going off to service shortly. There is an issue with the zero stop/second turn indicator, a small piece inside the turret seems to have fractured. Nice knowing that such issues will always be promptly taken care of.

Rifle Scopes Hensoldt 4-16 on sale at DVOR.com

    Gun Cases

Re: Gun Cases I've had an Eagle-HSRC for a few years now. Don't really remember what I paid for it. It doubles as a mat pretty well when needed. You'll have no problem putting your setup in there.

    Leupold 12-40x60 HD

Re: Leupold 12-40x60 HD Yeah I never really thought whether the Gold Ring HD would have restrictions on export, I figured the op already figured that out and asking the question for advice. I see a CQ/T license warning just below the picture, but I'm assuming that link is about the CQ/T...

Is your Suunto elevation ever correct?

Re: Is your Suunto elevation ever correct? I have the Core and when I take the time to set the reference values it's usually accurate. For your situation if your Core is in the altimeter profile, your altitude is changing and the barometer is changing it could provide an incorrect reading...
