    How crazy...

Re: How crazy... I'd rather have the 308 for a couple reasons, unless you just want a new gun, but another gun to consider if your wanting a new gun is the 6.5-284 Norma. It has some pretty sweet numbers

Any good ideas of getting better groups?

Re: Any good ideas of getting better groups? oh and its a savage 12fv 22-250 with Talley one piece mounts Leupold Mark 4 4.5-14x50 illum TMR. Instead of starting out taking a stab at whatever and playing with it to see what worked, I just decided what bullet design I liked and fit the use I...

Any good ideas of getting better groups?

Re: Any good ideas of getting better groups? well I seated my bullets down to 2.420 from 2.490 and it made the holes on a 3 shot group at 100 yards be able to be covered up by something smaller than a dime, so Im happy with that. I suspected OAL, but I just thought id see if anyone had any...

Any good ideas of getting better groups?

Re: Any good ideas of getting better groups? well Ive read other people that used very similar loads, the only difference was the primer and brass, but i used better brass and primers than they did, so I decided to try that out since they had the same gun in most cases. but I also found that...

Need a beginner .308 rifle. opinions please.

Re: Need a beginner .308 rifle. opinions please. I personally like the Savage better than the Remmy for out of the box accuracy. It seems to me like you have to put more work into a 700 to get it to where the Savage is out of the box. The accutrigger is very nice also, And I got myself a...

Any good ideas of getting better groups?

Re: Any good ideas of getting better groups? I know that wind does move a bullet, but I just didnt think it would move it that much. Also, I may shorten about 3-4 of them in increments of .01 and see if they get better. Yea, I may do that today

Any good ideas of getting better groups?

Re: Any good ideas of getting better groups? also the pics of the groups are turned on their side to the right, my hand goes up and down with the groups. The groups weren't low at 100yards and way to the left at 250. at 250 he just held on the little black dot.

22-250 savage twist rates and types?

I just bought a savage 12fv in 22-250 and it has a 1-12" twist. That limits me to 55 or 60 grainers. If I was to get a 1-8 or a 1-7" so that I could shoot maybe a 70-80 grain on occasion, but I would still want to shoot some light weights. would the fast twist screw up the lighter weights? I was...

Re: Ar-10 Adjustable gas block (low profile) Paladin Machine Service is the way to go. Some people have had a hard time getting ahold of them as I've seen on other forums, but his email is [email protected] and he replied pretty quick. I told him what I wanted, then I sent the money order...

    Suppressing a RRA AR10 anyone?

Hi, I have the RRA a4 26" bbl and am looking to suppress it soon. It shoots around .5 MOA and would like it to stay that way. Is there anything I need to look out for or are all suppressors good and wont mess up accuracy? A local Gun shop makes their own titanium one and they look real nice and...
