    why does the 308 always trump the 30-06

    been searching last cupple days and don't see why the 308 is so favored in long range over the 06 what i have found is 1. short action {big deal all i shoot is long so im used to it} 2. less recoil [reduce loads , is'n that what brakes are for or grow balls] You use the same bullets...

    using AA2230 for 69gr. smk

    looking for pet loads for aa2230 with 69 gr smk or does any one use it with any success? rifle Savage 223 1-9 twist still have a lb. of aa2230 left from my AR
