Re: How do you stay Motivated and Focused? Doesn't sound cheesy at all, if there is ever a good reason for being motivated for a healthy lifestyle that is definitely one of them.
Hello everyone, I know enough about what to eat and what not to eat, what are good fats and what are bad fats. I know about timing your meals and the like. My problem is staying motivated and focused on my overall goal when it comes to working out. I'm wondering what you guys or gals, do to...
Re: What do you think? Yeah, I have notice that after doing some research on other places to get the gun (or one similar) that they are very pricy. I have even recently been looking at private sellers in my state, I figure if I find someone who is knowledgeable in precision rifles, then I...
Can you cause damage by dry firing your weapon too many times? Whether it is in a row or just over the years? I'm beginning to understand that most of my buddies dont know crap about marksmenship/long range shooting! Seeing how most of my questions have been answered by serveral people the same...
I've seen several different styles of breaks out there, does one style (size & shape/angle of holes) have benefits over another? Does the caliber you shoot help determine the look of the break? Is there a certian style of break that works best with a certin caliber? Is it just the shooters...
Is this 100% hollywood or is there any accuracy in this? "Cutting Edge Bullets", has them and they say their great for expanding and with heat transfer; with a high BC and match/tactical & hunting bullet best of all worlds. Has anyone used a copper bullet that could offer any insight on the...
Re: What do you think? Yeah I've shot the caliber before and yes its going to be for mostly hunting; I have considered the price difference in ammo between the .308 and .300. I do want to get a .308 eventually, its an amazing caliber to shoot.
Re: What do you think? Well after I put my scope and bipod on it'll be closer to 10 lbs; I'll have to look into the 5R. I have considered getting a .308 the only reason i'm hesitant is for hunting, I want to make sure I can take down an elk quick and humanely from +400 yds; heard some...
I'm been looking around for my next long range rifle and after narrowing my search I'm thinking about getting the Remington 700 BDL chambered in .300 WIN MAG from Cabelas. At $659.99 -26" fluted barrel -7.6 lbs Twist is either 1-12 or 1-11 im guessing; Afraid of getting anything cheaper...
I heard that using a suppressor has a negative effect on accuracy when it comes to long range shots; +500 yds, is this true and if so how much does it really effect the impact point? Also, what about shorter distances, how does a suppressor factor in there? Thanks,
I am going to start reloading my own ammunition soon for target practice mostly. I was wonering if anyone who knows of any good textbooks that can help me get started with it. Thanks,
