Re: the feel of a freshly paint handgun... Spray paint on the polymer will be tacky for several days. We had to paint some meeger meter covers red at work for safety reasons. Took FOREVER to not feel tacky.

I have been invited to Utah next July to shoot some prairie dogs. Long story short do I take my Savage model 10 308 with handloads, Hornady 110 gr spire point. AR15 and use 40 gr V-max. Or use this as an excuse to get new bolt gun...223, 243 or 22-250. What say ye??
