I would have gotten back sooner but I have been swamped at work and also being the chief of a volunteer fire dept I stay busy trying to juggle life. Since last Friday through today we have ran 18 calls one of them being a full code. So I took off from work and got a little needed range time.

I have a 20moa base on mine and shoot all the time at 25 yards in my back yard. I can get out to 100 plus at my local range.

Thank you! Mine looked plain also when I purchased it, but after a little polishing of the wood with some Mother’s polish the stock turned out a lot better. If I remember correctly I did three or four coats of polish and then a good buffing with a microfiber cloth.

Re: torque specs for cz455 action? I don't have a 455 , mine is the 452 Varmint i had to play around with mine to find what it liked . 25 On rear and 20 on the front . My 16 '' American likes 25 on both front and rear action screws. Never had a problem with the action screws locking up the bolt .
