I picked up a 3rd gen one here a few months back and have really enjoyed using it. I went from a Harris bipod to this, so it's night and day difference in the way you utilize the bipod.

I should qualify my answer as I have a FFP version of the scope. The optics are great, just the reticle gets a big obtrusive at 24x at 1000 yards

I've had the MOA version now for 18 months and have really liked it. It shows it's limitations past 800 yards, but still a great scope overall.

I have no idea.. this will be my first venture to the range and this shoot

I've been carrying a Pro-Tech TR-3 (154-CM) now for over a year and it's done me well. It got dull a little quicker than I'd have preferred, but it could've been that I used it several times a day on everything that needed cutting.

I had the same problem when I purchased mine. I ended up purchasing a bipod adapter from Sinclairs that worked great. There are a variety of them out there that folks have had great success with.

I picked one up here a few months ago. I was utilizing an RCBS JR3 and upgraded to it. Was night and day improvement. They few times I've called / emailed their support folks I've had some of the best customer service ever.

Does anyone have information about the match being held 6.1/6.2 down at Paul Bunyan? I couldn't find any match details on their website and the WSRPA appears to not be putting up match bulletins this year.

It'll depend on your primers/brass you're using. With Nosler brass and GM120M primers I wasn't seeing any pressure signs at 45 grs.. Like with anything work up to that load to make sure you're setup won't have an issue with it

Thankfully if there is a problem with the scope, I've heard that Vortex's customer service and warranty work is top notch. With regard to the quality, I've got a 6-24 on my F-class gun I've used out to 1000 yards and did great.

Tornado - That's the factory cheek piece. They have a short and a tall variation of the cheek piece.

Diego - I've got my loaded to 2.1780 (Ogive) which I believe is just .0010 off the lands. I'm heading out to the range on Sunday and I'll post up my results I get @ 300 yards.
