Issue with mounting scope... in relation to the rifle its at bit of an angle

Agree to disagree , a tracking test doesn't take ammo , been down the fixture route and have been bit in the ass , tracking involves both a firing and no firing component . With the info provided, albeit incomplete and vague , the turrets and tube are level and the reticule canted . That is...

Issue with mounting scope... in relation to the rifle its at bit of an angle

If the reticule is visibly canted in relation to my turrets I am not wasting time or ammo to run a tracking test , it already failed and is going back to be replaced / repaired.

Canted reticule in a scope is not unheard of . What scope manufacturer ? Send it back and have it replaced/repaired as previously stated above.

    2020 PRS Finale info

To me the only way to quell the production drama is to go old school dirt track and change it to " claimer class " . Run what you brung but at of day anyone shooting the class can " claim " the rig for X amount of dollars and take home a new rig . At the track it was only for the engines...

Wilson Combat full auto bolt in AR15 not cycling?

The gas system length has nothing to do with what bolt carrier is used . M4 and M16 have the same bolt carriers . The full auto carrier does 2 things, add weight to slow the cyclic rate slightly, and trip the auto sear with the bottom of the carrier that isn't present on a semi auto only...

    Gunsmithing Bore condition help

Looks like a chrome lined bore with the chrome flaking off to me , with all the pits and bad spots no way I'd call that a new barrel .

    Gunsmithing Barrel recoppering

I've seen chrome lined barrels with 10k plus rounds down them that don't look that bad . Could be a few things either there are way more rounds down it than the guy told you , crappy barrel , or possibly corrosive ammo since there are pits in the chamber also . Anyway you look at it the barrel...

    Gunsmithing Barrel recoppering

Gonna be the odd man out here , to me that looks like chrome flaking off to , not copper . If that is the case there is nothing that can be done to reverse it .

    Suppressors Grouping Issues....where to start?

You'll need to have the can threads checked also then . Not all manufacturers run 3A threads so it cannot be assumed that is the spec that was used .

    Suppressors Grouping Issues....where to start?

The threads and the barrel shoulder being the interface between the rifle and the can on a direct thread suppressor it is important they be in spec . Get in touch with the suppressor manufacturer and determine what spec they use for their threads , there are multiple ones , and take the barrel...

    Suppressors Grouping Issues....where to start?

I saw the first photo , there is no thread relief . Look at the drawing Zak posted .

    Suppressors Grouping Issues....where to start?

There is no thread relief at the base of the muzzle threads and its hard to tell from the angle of the picture , there is a gap between the face of the can and barrel shoulder .
