I am going to be trimming and pointing my meplats and was wondering if it would be wrong or if it made sense to measure all of the bullets OAL and find the shortest one and trim the rest to that length and then point them?

For the life of me I can not figure out why we are buying ammo by the cases. There has been no talk of banning ammo or raising taxes on ammo so why the chaos? All we are accomplishing is backing up every supplier and manufacturer for the next year.

Re: 284 RL17 data. That was using BR2 primers. The OAL using the hornady OAL tool was 2.567". The action is a Stiller TAC300 and I use PTG bottom metal and a 300WM accurate mag DBM. They feed nicely from the mag but I always single load them.
