I have both and really like both. Amg on my hunting rig minox on target/fun gun. Minox has an edge with glass, reticle (mr4), eye relief. I like the amg turrets better and it's overall size is a little more compact. I think you'd be happy with either both are great
Heard a lot of smiths having trouble with Proof being consistent. In Bryan Litz book he got a barrel from them that was shooting 2.5 moa at best. And as snarks mentioned a lot of smiths cannot put any sort of guarantee on proofs accuracy I'd say if you are gonna shoot it once a year it doesn't...

whats the actual weight difference? Doesn't seem like it could be much. I've felt both actions and even with just bolt dlc it is by far the smoothest action out there. Also the 60 deg vs 90 is a huge advantage of the Curtis not to mention $300+ cheaper. IMO you can't buy a better action for the...
