I've got a deal working to trade into a used Rem 700 w/ a Kreiger barrel that the seller knows very little about. I'd like to know the age of the rifle. Is there an online resource for Rem 700 serial numbers (this one is E66154**). My search fu is weak this weekend.

Re: M&P Pro Series 9mm? I bought the Pro hoping for a better trigger. 17 rounds later, I ordered the Apex kit and watched the YouTube vids to install it. Save yourself time and trouble, just buy a standard and get the Apex kit. The Pro's trigger wasn't much better that the Standard.

Re: Suppressor Host: 1911 or "Other"? I went with a prefit Stormlake barrel for my 1911 suppressor (AAC Evo .45) host. No fitting or acuracy issues with my Gen 1 Kimber or Springfield Operator MC. Spent the extra of a 16x1 LH piston for flexability in the future.
