Check out the ballistics on the 208, even at 2400-2500fps (my 308) it's good to like 1100 yards or something where I'm at.

Given the opportunity, I'd build a 24" 10 twist 300WM to run 208 Amax's.

If you're looking for a brake, I'd go with the TBAC 30BA brake, that way you still have your threads if you want a can, and TBAC customer service is unbeatable.
